Baby Lily

This little cutie was the last session I did before having my own little cutie. Isn't she beautiful?? I think she looks a lot like her Daddy! Ms. Lily was soooooo good, and even though she was awake most of the session, she was as happy as could be and let us position her however we wanted. Her Grandma was in town visiting from Texas, so I was lucky enough to get some "3 Generation" photos.

Sisters...

I have envisioned this shot since the day I found out I was pregnant in February.

I have to say that Isabelle is an even better big sister than I could have hoped for. She wants to come home after school to be with her family, she hugs and kisses her sister often and puts the binky back in Genevieve's mouth when it falls out. She helps me change diapers. She wants to hold her sister and kisses the top of her head while she does.

I have to admit that not too long after Belle was born I thought, "there's no way I can love another child as much as I love my first born". "Maybe we shouldn't have another because can you love two children equally"? The answer is yes, you can! And it is the best feeling in the world!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Meet the newest fan of Grin & Share It Photography

It is with great joy that I introduce you to you Genevieve, the newest addition of our family. Our little pumpkin came into this world on Halloween, 8 days early. Big sister Isabelle is loving having her here, and it makes me so happy to watch them together. I'm actually feeling great, and am amazed how much easier it is the second time around. For quite some time I've felt as though someone was missing from our family, and now she is finally here!!!!!!!

Ciallella Family

This session was one of my lasts before maternity leave and SO much fun! Kiersten picked out the spot, The Grand Del Mar, and when we arrived I could see why. The landscape was beautiful, the hotel was Mediterranean in design and there were so many different spots to shoot.

Check out Mr. Anthony, I swear he could be a model. He did anything I asked him to do for an hour (which for a 5 year old, is a lifetime) and laughed and had fun the whole time he was doing it. When Kiersten was asking me about outfits I mentioned how fun it would be if he had a cool tweed hat... and looky looky what they showed up to the session with! LOVE!!!!!

Forga Family

I was so excited for this mini-session because not only is this one gorgeous family, but Jennifer even went out of her way to make tutus for the girls just for their session. When the girls showed up they looked so darn adorable, and I had a lot of fun taking pictures of the princesses :)

Kaplan Family

More photos from another one of my mini-sessions a few weeks ago. Alexa & her family were such troopers, especially considering how wet the ground was. They really wanted photos of them piled on the grass, so they left the park a bit damp. It was TOTALLY worth it though for the shots I got.

Wilson Family

The last time I saw Nicole was to photograph her entire family at Windansea beach. She was just barely beginning to show from her second pregnancy and we had a great morning playing in the sand. I was very excited when she contacted me about a session which would include her now 5 month old daughter, as well as big sister Ella and her husband. I swear baby Kate looks like a doll. Those big eyes and soft brown hair... thank goodness I'm already pregnant or she would have definitely given me baby fever.

We met at one of my favorite spots, Presidio Park, and I had a great time with this fun loving family who is so at ease in front of the camera.

Tran Family

Linh was in town visiting from Las Vegas and booked a couple of my mini-sessions to take pictures of her and her family at the beach while they were in town. Unfortunately baby T wasn't feeling very well, but he was such a trooper and Daddy even managed to get a few smiles out of him during their session.

Zayas Family

I met the Zayas family at one of my mini-sessions a few weeks ago at Pacific Beach (yes, I'm very behind on blogging, sorry). The girls were so excited to be at the beach that we just followed their lead and let them run around, jump and play. I got some amazing candids and had a great time trying to capture the girls gorgeous blue eyes.

And Baby Makes Four {Ohta Family}

I met Jin & her family at Balboa Park last Friday. It was another hot day, but I was okay with that because the light was absolutely beautiful that morning. Not to mention that the last session I had with them was one of my favorites, and this one certainly did not disappoint. This family is so affectionate, relaxed and knows how to have fun. Their pictures always show that!

Jin is due just one short week after I am, but I swear her belly is half the size :) Congratulations Ohta family on your new addition. I can't wait to photograph him!!!!!
